Tyler Posey Is Avan Jogia's New TV Boyfriend
Tyler Posey will soon be returning to MTV in the new season of Scream, but before then he will be joining a new series as Avan Jogia's love interest.
Victorious star Avan is starring as Ulysses in the new Starz series Now Apocalypse. In the show, Ulysses and his friends try to find love, sex, and fame in Los Angeles. Ulysses starts to have weird nightmares that may signal that something bigger might be going on.
According to Deadline, Tyler will be joining the cast as Gabriel, a guy that Ulysses meets on a dating app. When they finally go on their first date, things heat up pretty quickly between the couple.
Along with Avan, three of the shows main cast members have already been announced. Kelli Bergland will play Carly, Awkward. star Beau Mirchoff will play Ford, and Roxane Mesquida will play Severine. Carly is a wannabe actress trying to make it in Hollywood, while Ford is an aspiring screenwriter and Ulysses' roommate. Severine is a French astrobiological theorist and one of Ulysses' friends.
The first season will consist of 10 episodes and will air on Starz. A release date has not been set.
Since leaving Teen Wolf, Tyler appeared on Jane the Virgin for a number of episodes as Jane's love interest Adam. Avan Jogia previously starred in Victorious and Twisted. He recently starred in Ghost Wars on SyFy, which was cancelled after one season.
