Two of Prince Harry's celebrity friends 'snubbing' his 40th birthday celebrations
Before Prince Harry embarks on an adventurous birthday celebration in the mountains with friends, he is reportedly celebrating at a lavish gathering at his Montecito, California estate first with wife Meghan Markle, but a couple of important pals will be notably missing. Local florist, Felipe Sandoval, has hinted that music icon Elton John, who was a close friend of Harry's mum, the late Princess Diana, might not join the party.
He spilled: "Elton always orders orchids in a white container and we are coordinating with them to deliver for Harry's birthday. He sent the same thing for the Duchess of Sussex's birthday too." Even Harry's buddy James Corden will miss out due to filming commitments in Wales, putting the final touches on the much-anticipated Gavin and Stacey Christmas special, reports the Express.
Reflecting on the personal significance of his birthday, Harry shared with the BBC: "Becoming a father of two incredibly kind and funny kids has given me a fresh perspective on life, as well as sharpening my focus in all my work. Being a dad is one of life's greatest joys and has only made me more driven and more committed to making this world a better place."

He also shared with excitement: "I was anxious about 30, I'm excited about 40. Whatever the age, my mission is to continue showing up and doing good in the world."
According to PEOPLE magazine, Harry is set to celebrate his big 4-0 with a "gathering of close friends internationally."
His celebration news comes shortly after the Royal family - including King Charles - issued a birthday statement, wishing Harry a wonderful 40th via the official Royal Family X account. With the post, they included a photograph of Harry dressed in a smart grey suit as he smiled in a candid shot. It comes in a move that has raised a few eyebrows, considering the royal protocol usually reserves such online tributes for working members of the family. Similarly, the Prince and Princess of Wales' account also publicly wished him a happy birthday.
