Twizzlers’ First-Ever Halloween Shape Has Already Won the Season
It’s the candy we didn’t know we'd been waiting for.
Get ready, candy fans, because the flood of Halloween-themed treats is already starting to hit store shelves. It might still be the beginning of August, but many candy brands are already making their sweets spooky and sinister in preparation for the biggest candy holiday of the year.
This year, we can expect new and returning themed treats, from M&M’s Ghouls to Ghoulish Green Snickers and Twix bars. But, the candy creation we’re most excited to see comes from a brand that usually doesn’t join in on the Halloween fanfare: Twizzlers. And, for its seasonal debut, we think Twizzlers nailed it on the first try.
New Twizzlers Ghosts Are Coming for Halloween
Introducing the cutest candy in the 2024 Halloween collection: Twizzlers Ghosts.
If you love Twizzlers bites or Twizzlers nibs, these seasonal treats will be right up your alley. They’re the same bite-sized licorice snacks you love, but with adorable little ghost faces, giving the sweets a fun new hint of Halloween spirit.
This isn’t the first holiday treat we’ve seen from the candy brand. For the past few years, Twizzlers has already helped us celebrate Valentines Day with Twizzlers Hearts and Easter with adorable Twizzlers Bunnies. But, this year, it's introducing the first spooky shape “for the most delicious way to scare up some good fun,” the website reads.
Fans already can’t wait to get their hands on the seasonal snacks. “Brb eating these unconsciously by the mouthful,” one user replied. “Oh the texture of these is gonna slap,” added another.
“About time Twizzlers threw their hat into the ring!” a fan commented.
According to an Instagram post, new Twizzlers Ghosts will be out for the Halloween season, although some lucky customers have already spotted them at Hy-Vee. So, we wouldn’t be surprised if the bites roll out to other major retailers by the end of the month.
Even if Twizzlers aren't your usual Halloween treat of choice, you can’t deny that these snacks are just downright cute. “I absolutely HATE Twizzlers... But I LOVE everything spooky season and these are cherry flavored. Might give em a go,” one user shared.
So, we think the other candy brands can take a rest from the ghoul, ghost, and jack-o-lantern looks this season—Twizzlers Ghosts have already taken gold in our candy bags.
