Rummaging through your sock drawer for some shoe liners, or even trainer socks, to go unnoticed under a pair of shoes or pumps is a situation most of us are familiar with.
Chances are, you've tried folding your longer socks down many a time, but ended up with an uncomfortable bunch inside your shoes – or, worse, you've gone sock-less and had sweaty feet as a result.
However, ASOS has shared a video of a hack for turning your normal socks into shoe liners, and people are amazed.
The retailer uploaded the clip to Instagram, writing: "Fashion hack alert 🚨 caught out with the wrong socks? Try this 👆"
The video shows some quick trickery, and followers were pretty impressed.
"This is revolutionary," one wrote.
Another added: "What kind of magic is this ???? 😍"
However, not everyone's convinced that the five-second hack will actually work. One sceptical follower wrote: "Great till you take one step and they slide back down into your shoe!"
While another added: "That sock is coming off on the first step. It woulda been a look if they kept the socks the way they were."
Either way, we'll be giving it a go next time we're stuck for hosiery.
