Travis Kelce is used to making headlines for his skill on the football field—and, more recently, his relationship with Taylor Swift. But the Kansas City Chiefs tight end turns heads as a style icon, too.

On Sunday, heading into the Chiefs’ matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, Kelce rocked a fall fit, showing off a mismatched-plaid flannel and pants embroidered with a popsicle design, courtesy of Pharrell Williams’s luxury streetwear line BBC Icecream (the brand’s name is printed on the back of the sold-out shirt for good measure.) But it was what the footballer chose for his kicks that really cemented his status as a hypebeast. Kelce donned a rare pair of Nike Dunk Lows in the “Green Lobster” colorway, Sports Illustrated’s FanNation reported.

The shoes were a collab between the athletic company and the Boston-based brand Concepts, which wanted to nod to its New England roots. A Green Stone upper in leather and suede is paired with a white padded tongue and a bright-green outsole for a muted, oceanic look. Released in 2018, the Dunks sold for just $100, but they’ve since become something of a collector’s item, fetching more than $1,300 on some resale sites, according to FanNation.

Swifties are likely trying to figure out the meaning behind Kelce’s choice of footwear. Earlier this season, he opted for a matching KidSuper denim jacket and pants in a dreamy blue-and-white pattern. Swift’s fans decided that the look was an ode to the singer’s upcoming 1989 (Taylor’s Version), as that album features a similar color scheme. The designer of Kelce’s outfit even updated the top’s name after the fact, making it the 1989 Bedroom Painting Denim Jacket.

While Kelce’s Dunks won’t be getting a name change anytime soon, the duo’s influence on each other has become clear. Since the two were first reported to be a couple, Swift has attended four Chiefs games across the country. And Kelce recently dropped $6 million on a new manse in Kansas City, reportedly to have more privacy when he’s hanging out with the pop star. With a host of amenities including a mini-golf course and a pickleball court, the pair would barely have to leave Kelce’s pad to enjoy a date night.

But when they do, we’ll make sure to keep an eye out for what impressive sneaks Kelce breaks out next.
