Travis Kelce Just Launched New Prepared Meals—and They’re Only Available at Walmart
It seems like Kelce knows us all too well.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has stolen the hearts of millions—including Taylor Swift—over the past few weeks. From his hilarious and charming personality on his “New Heights” podcast, which he shares with his brother and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason, to his relationship with his sweet Mama Kelce—and not to mention the fact that he’s one of the best tight ends in the NFL—we can’t seem to get enough of number 87.
We’ve learned a lot about Kelce’s diet, like his obsession with Uncrustables and the meal he eats before every football game, but what we haven’t touched on is his love of Kansas City-style barbecue. Kansas City is known for its slow-smoked meats coated in sweet sauce, most commonly served as brisket or burnt ends.
While Kelce can often be found at Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que enjoying the burnt ends or meat-packed Z-Man sandwich, he might not have to frequent the restaurant as much anymore thanks to his new business venture.
Travis Kelce Rolls Out New Travis Kelce's Kitchen Prepared Meals
Kelce is entering the prepared food space by launching a new line of Travis Kelce’s Kitchen entrees. The refrigerated entrees were recently spotted at Walmart after months of speculation that began when Kelce’s company, Kelce Food Group LLC, filed a trademark for the name “Travis Kelce’s Kitchen” to make prepared entrees and frozen foods.
For now, it seems Kelce is only launching products in the refrigerated section. The Super Bowl-winning tight end is releasing five entrees that are Walmart exclusives—most of which embody the best of Kansas City barbecue.
The Travis Kelce’s Kitchen line includes Burnt Ends Mac & Cheese, Burnt Ends BBQ Baked Beans, Sausage BBQ Baked Beans, Seasoned Brisket Burnt Ends in BBQ Sauce, Seasoned Sliced Brisket in BBQ Sauce, and Sausage & Meatball Marinara with Peppers and Onions. Kelce’s one-pound meals are all fully prepared, so you’ll just need to heat and serve.
As far as pricing, here's what you can expect:
BBQ Baked Beans (with Sausage): $8.17
BBQ Baked Beans (with Burnt Ends): $8.67
Bacon Mac & Cheese: $8.88
Brisket Burnt Ends & Mac & Cheese: $9.22
Sausage, Peppers, Meatballs and Marinara: $9.88
Brisket Burnt Ends & BBQ Sauce: $12.78
Sliced Brisket in BBQ Sauce: $12.78
The meals have already been found at a few Walmart locations—and a representative for Walmart confirmed that they're heading to shelves. However, the representative didn’t share the availability, so you’ll just have to check your local Walmart to see if Kelce’s meals are making an appearance nationwide.
Between this new line of grocery products, his multiple NFL commercials, appearances on SNL, and leading the Chiefs in receiving yards, Kelce has already had an incredibly busy season—luckily for us, it’s just getting started.
