Travis Barker posts sweet tribute to Kourtney Kardashian after flying for the first time in 13 years
After bravely boarding his first flight in 13 years, Travis Barker is taking time to thank his girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian for helping him overcome his fear of flying.
The couple, who are currently vacationing in Cabo San Lucas with Kourt's mum Kris Jenner, are known for their PDA's on social media, but Travis' latest post proves that love truly can conquer all.
After surviving a deadly plane crash in 2008 that killed four people, the Blink182 drummer swore off flying, but now Travis has courageously faced his fears with the support of his girlfriend.
“There’s a million things that could happen to me,” Travis said in a recent interview with Men's Health. “I could die riding my skateboard. I could get in a car accident. I could get shot. Anything could happen. I could have a brain aneurysm and die. So why should I still be afraid of airplanes?”
After previously saying that he "wants to make the choice to try and overcome it" and had an agreement in place with someone very close to him to help him conquer the fear, the drummer has now bravely ticked the massive milestone off his list.
Travis took to Instagram to celebrate the event, posting a picture of him and Kourt in a passionate embrace on the tarmac moments before they boarded Kylie Jenner's private jet (known as Kylie Air) to Mexico.
But it was Travis' caption that truly made our hearts sink, saying, "With you anything is possible 🖤 @kourtneykardash":
Kourt immediately took to the comments section to sweetly praise her beau, saying, "Anything and everything with you 🖤".
But she wasn't the only one to commend Travis' bravery, with her sisters Khloé Kardashian saying, "Im going to cry" and "Love conquers ALL", while Kim Kardashian West commented, "THE CUTEST EVER," before adding, "I spy a Skims Slip 😉," while Kylie Jenner simply commented, "🛩🛩💓".
Other celebs also took to the comments section, with singer Bebe Rexha saying, "I love this" while, Steph Shep poignantly said, "love heals 🙏🏻" and Kourt's BFF Addison Rae commented, "😭👏🏼❤️".
As if we didn't love these two enough, Trav and Kourt prove that there's no greater power than the power of love. Okay, we're officially calling it, these two will be engaged by Christmas. #TravisAndKourtneyForever
