The Traitors cast say 'how dare she' as Charlotte's fake accent revealed

The Traitors cast has finally discovered Charlotte's white lie which she maintained throughout the latest series. The London-born star entered the castle pretending that she was from Wales and assumed a fake accent for the duration of the show.

Following tonight's tense finale, which saw Leanne and Jake taking home £94,600, her fellow competitors' reactions to the revelation were revealed.

Appearing on Ed Gamble's Uncloaked podcast, alongside Alexander and Francesca, Charlotte watched as her former castmates discovered the truth about her background. Ed rolled the clips, which started with the cast reading a letter that said: "Charlotte is born and bred in London; her Welsh accent is fake."

Visibly stunned by the discovery, the series three cast exclaimed: "Why, why?!" Linda, who was an original Traitor in the series chimed in: "Are you serious?"

Meanwhile Faithfuls Leon and Lisa burst into laughter, with the priest attempting to make sense of the lie, saying: "Maybe there's some sort of statistic that the Welsh are more trustworthy. I don't know." Leon then voiced out: "How dare she?!"

When asked about the thought process behind her false accent, Charlotte explained: "It got me on the show and it got me to the end." However, she admitted: "It gave me to biggest headache ever" because former Faithful Elen, who was actually from Wales, could have uncovered her fib.

Although her game plan seemed ineffective at the start of the season, it carried her all the way through to the finale, making her the last standing Traitor.

Unfortunately for the Londoner, the bombshell 'Seer' twist put her at risk as Francesca was given the power to uncover her identity before the final roundtable.

Ultimately, Charlotte's journey came to an end after the Faithfuls voted her out, choosing to believe Francesca's warning about the Traitor's identity.

Four Faithfuls: Alexander, Francesca, Jake and Leanne, were left standing in the last stretch of the game. But it was Leanne and Jake who claimed the final prize.
