The Trader Joe’s Dessert I Stock Up on to Beat the January Blues
It gives me that much needed pick-me-up in the winter.
Admittedly, I hate January. After a dizzying lineup of big holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, January just seems so dull—I dread it every year. To combat my January blues, I like to indulge in small treats that make the winter a tiny bit sweeter. And this year, Trader Joe’s has given me my new go-to treat to get through the cold and dark season.
Trader Joe's Mini Chocolate Mousse Desserts
Trader Joe’s items notoriously garner cult follwings and I’d like to bring a new one to the spotlight: its Mini Chocolate Mousse Desserts. With rich and creamy Belgian chocolate, each mini dessert features a layer of buttery shortbread, fluffy chocolate mousse, and a rich dark chocolate ganache . It's topped with sprinkles and while one is enough to fulfill your sweet craving, sometimes I like to have two. Maybe two and a half on a good day.
In a Reddit post about the dessert, fans called it an “11/10” and the best Trader Joe’s product they’ve tried in a long time.
“These are so good and perfectly sized for a small sweet bite,” one fan wrote. Another said they were so good that they called their local Trader Joe’s to “buy a couple of boxes...or five.”
These are only a limited-time offering for the winter, so I suggest going to buy them as soon as possible if you want to beat customers like me taking the entire stock.
