TOWIE’s Ferne McCann hints at sex of baby

The Only Way Is Essex star Ferne McCann has opened up about the pregnancy symptoms she’s been experiencing in recent months, hinting her health has given her a clue to the sex of her baby.

The reality TV star recently announced the news she's expecting her second child. McCann and her fiancé Lorri Haines, who both have children from previous relationships, are due to welcome their first baby together later this year.

While the TOWIE star has chosen not to find out the sex of her baby before it arrives, she’s revealed she has a hunch while chatting about her recent health ailments on Wednesday night’s (March 29 instalment of her ITVBe show First Time Mum.

"The one thing that I've had is migraines," she explained, detailing her pregnancy symptoms. "I just spoke to my mum on FaceTime and I can't remember ever getting migraines before.

"But she said to me 'no you definitely did [when pregnant with your daughter Sunday]' which leads me to think we're having a girl."

"A house full of women, I can't bloody wait," Haines joked.

However, as McCann is determined to keep the sex of her baby a surprise, it looks like fans will have to wait until the little one arrives to find out.

When she first announced her pregnancy on Instagram, McCann confessed she’s been "bursting at the seams with happiness".

"So excited to officially share our lovely news with you," she wrote, alongside a photo of her showing off her growing baby bump with Haines by her side.

The model and presenter opened up on realising she was pregnant after noticing some telltale signs during a trip to India with Haines. Once back in the UK, she took a test and the result confirmed her suspicions.

"I just sat on the toilet with the door open and was like, 'I knew it! It's positive!'. It wasn't this romantic, tears streaming-down-my-face thing," she told OK!.

"We were so happy. It wasn't planned, but it wasn't not planned," she continued. "For us both being parents, they're little miracles and it was such a positive moment and something to look forward to for us."

For his part, Haines said he was "over the moon", sharing: "I couldn't believe it!"
