Tour Amy Schumer’s 4th Floor Walkup (!) NYC Apartment

Actress and comedian Amy Schumer, who once rented out Jake Gyllenhaal’s apartment and ate his frozen birthday cake, is now trying to rid herself of her own (probably dessert-free) abode.

The 850-square-foot, one-bedroom, 1.5-bath townhouse co-op, located in New York’s Upper West Side on West 80th Street by Central Park and the American Museum of Natural History, is on the market for $2.075 million. Which seems… kind of steep for such a small home, and one that also happens to be a fourth floor walkup.

BUT! There’s a lot of good stuff in there: Eleven-foot ceilings, two wood-burning fireplaces, oak floors, a large master bath with clawfoot tub, lots of built-ins, and the two things every New Yorker dreams of having and doubtfully ever will—a super spacious, beautifully landscaped roof deck, and, perhaps more achievable, a washer/dryer. What we’re trying to say is, we wouldn’t kick this single bed out of bed.

According to Variety, Schumer purchased the apartment just over a year ago for $1.695 million. My, what financial differences one year of celebrity ownership can make.
