Finding a good pair of jeans is the fashion equivalent of sourcing the holy grail, but many have found Topshop's wide selection of affordable denim to be up there with some of the very best. Even those with a wardrobe full of designer items still have a trusty pair of Jamie or Mom jeans in their wardrobe.

Now, the retailer has launched what it claims to be its most flattering style yet, the 'Editor' jeans, inspired by fashion editors (we assume).

The straight-leg style features a high-waist and ankle-grazing length, making them perfect for any height and any shoe - whether a pair of strappy heels, trainers or hiking boots. We'll be wearing them with a chunky jumper for now, and switching to a blouse when it starts to warm up again.

Right now, the Editor jeans come in three colours - mid blue, grey and bleach - and are available in regular, tall and petite lengths. However, the retailer tells us that new colours are set to launch next month for those that prefer lighter or darker denim.

Unsurprisingly, they're already selling out, so if you're interested you might want to get in there quickly.

Topshop has made a habit recently of releasing cult fashion buys - their satin skirts were the sell-out item of the season, and they also have a great selection of slip dresses.
