Yep, you read that right. Bridal fever has inspired the brilliant Topshop folk to launch their very own collection of wedding dresses! Be still our highstreet hearts. Although details are scarce, we do have this lone tweet from Topshop HQ: 'Want to get married just so we can wear our @studio_nicoll bridal collection set to land in June. Can't give you a sneak peek but wow!'
What a tease! So although the sneak peek is yet to come, we do know Toppers has tapped Richard Nicoll to create the bridal wear. The Brit designer is most often associated with sporty, functional pieces but went for a softer, more romantic approach for his Spring Summer 2012 collection. 'I am understanding more and more what women want but it has to gel with what I want too,' the London-born designer told Grazia Daily at the time. 'So it's a compromise of both perspectives, architecture meets reality. The wearable things are what I would want to wear if I was a woman.' Does this mean we can expect trendy prettiness and casual coolness for Topshop's brides-to-be?
The gallery above showcases some of Nicoll's feminine creations so have a flick through and tell us your verdict. Would you buy a Nicoll-designed wedding gown from Topshop at a bargainous high street price?
