This supermarket's Valentine's day meal deal includes MOTH cocktails
If you'd prefer to steer clear of the overbooked restaurants this Valentine's Day, a premium Valentine's Day meal kit is the perfect way to celebrate (without creating a whole load of washing up in the kitchen).
A Valentine's Day meal deal or meal kit from your local supermarket is the perfect stress-free solution, and there are some brilliant options available this year to cater for every need and want.
Easy to prepare, quick to cook and increasingly ‘gourmet’ – an at-home romantic dinner for two is, arguably, our favourite way to celebrate V-day. Plus, you might find they’re healthier than going out or ordering a takeaway from Deliveroo.
However you’re celebrating, and whoever with, we've rounded up some of our favourite kits for treating your loved ones on the big day, with options to suit every budget and taste. Whether grilled fish and veggies in candlelight or steak and thick-cut chips with your girlfriends is your jam, we've got you covered for Valentine's Day this year.

Co-op
Co-op's Valentine's Day meal deal is a proper bargain - you get to choose a main, side and bottle of wine for a tenner (if you're a membership card holder). The meals are all gastro pub-themed, giving you and your chosen dining companion the all the fuzzy, cosy, in-the-pub feels at home.
What's included?: A main, side and bottle of wine for £10 for members, £12 for non-members.
When's it available?: 5th-19th February 2025.
WH's menu picks: We can't resist a chicken parm, so the Chicken Parmigiana with Parmesan and ciabatta crumb, marinara sauce and melty cheese is going straight to the top of our list. To accompany this indulgent main, we'll be opting for a fresh Irresistible Vegetable Steamer, and a bottle of Irresistible Prosecco.
Tesco
Tesco's 2025 offering is pretty fancy. We're talking scallops, charcuterie and premium pre-made cocktail from MOTH. Sounds great, right? However, you'll need to be a Tesco Clubcard member to pick up this deal - it's not available for non-members.
What's included?: A starter, main, side, dessert and a drink for £18 at large Tesco stores, and £12 at Tesco Express stores without a starter.
When's it available?: From 10th February 2025.
WH's menu picks: To start, the Coquille St Jacques with Panko Crumb is our pick (who can make that at home?), followed by Rump Steak with Green Peppercorn Butter with a side of Baby Potatoes with Chantenay Carrots & Tenderstem with Smoked Garlic & Herb Dressing. MOTH Margaritas are a must, and the Lemon Meringue Oyster Shells are the most beautiful way to finish.
