Thankfully, Pinterest has tracked down this year's biggest trends to help you know exactly what to pack and where to book a gram-worthy Airbnb.

In 2018, millennials flocked to the greek island of Mykonos courtesy of it's A-list approval after the likes of Gigi Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski documented their travels on social media.

Meanwhile, solo female travel soared in popularity with top destination spots including Cuba, Sri Lanka and Portugal.

Whether it's a chic city break in Copenhagen or a week spent exploring the rolling Icelandic landscape, search for autumn holidays has increased by 94%.

Whether you're after a hot soak in Iceland's famous Blue Lagoon or fancy a dip in the Széchenyi thermal baths of Budapest, search for the world's most luxurious hot springs has risen by 32%.
