The fallout from Harry Jowsey and Francesca Farago's break-up continues, with him addressing the split in a video posted to his YouTube channel late on Wednesday night.
The pair who met on Netflix's Too Hot to Handle, were one of only two couples who left the show in a relationship and have spent the last few months gushing about each other in interviews and on social media, getting matching tattoos and talking publicly about marriage and kids. There was even a theory that they got engaged on Zoom.
But, as we know all that came crashing down just a couple of days ago when Francesca posted an emotional video to her YouTube channel explaining that the couple had broken up. In the video she referenced how difficult it had been to maintain the relationship long distance (Harry is in the US and Francesca is in Canada), and also mentioned "rumours that came up that turned out to be true."
Then, late last night Harry posted a video to his YouTube channel, titled, 'I broke up with her'.
In the video, Harry detailed how tumultuous the relationship could be, saying that's ultimately what caused him to end it.
"When we were together, we were always on edge," he said. "The happiest moments of my life were with her but when things were bad, they were really bad. So every time we would fight, it would just be the worst and the most depressed time of my life.
"I just had to end it because … I knew that if I continued to be with Francesca that it would end up with her being seriously heartbroken or me continually being seriously depressed in the relationship."
Harry doesn't address the "rumours" Francesca mentioned in her video, however Harry has previously spoken about the secret romance he had with co-star Madison Wyborny when he and Francesca briefly broke up after the show.
