Too Hot To Handle season three dropped on Netflix in January, and we obviously binged it all in one sitting. Which left us questioning: is season four happening? When do we get our next dose of Lana’s sexy singles on our our screens? And are we getting any LGBTQIA+ contestants? Here’s everything we know so far about Too Hot To Handle season 4.
When will Too Hot To Handle Season 4 be released?
Surprise! Too Hot To Handle season 4 is dropping in December 2022, across two batches of episodes. The first five arrive on 7th December, while the second five will be available to stream on 14th December. YES.
Has Too Hot To Handle Season 4 been confirmed?
After season three dropped in January, season 4 of the show was confirmed weeks later in February 2022. Announcing the news on Instagram, an official Netflix account shared, "Who doesn't love a cheeky little Cupid? Too Hot To Handle Season 4, and even more 'naughty' Netflix dating shows, are on the way."
Who will star in Has Too Hot To Handle Season 4?
We currently don't know who is heading into the Caribbean villa for season four, but viewers can expect the cast to be from similar locations as the previous three seasons; the UK, Ireland, the USA, Australia, Canada and South Africa.
Although Too Hot To Handle opens up casting for contestants, some are seemingly picked out from social media. As season three's Holly revealed to Digital Spy, "I think I was actually approached to do Love Island like a couple years ago, the US one, for season one, and I respectfully declined.
"I couldn't imagine myself on a reality show, believe it or not. This one kind of came and fell into my lap, and I was just in the headspace of 'why not?' Right? Like you live once, experience life and here I am.”
Do we have a Too Hot To Handle Season 4 trailer?
While we don't have an actual trailer, Netflix released a season 4 date announcement trailer, which also announced Mario Lopez as the new host. As the description explained, "The sizzling reality dating show, Too Hot To Handle returns to Netflix for season 4 on December 7 2022. A brand new batch of lust-driven singles are looking for love, with a helping hand from TV host Mario Lopez & fan favourite, Lana."
What is Too Hot To Handle About?
The official season four description reads: "Ten super hot and horny singletons enter a lavish villa in the Caribbean hoping to fall in love harder, faster and more intensely than ever in a high stakes dating show called Wild Love hosted by TV legend Mario Lopez. Little do they know that TOO HOT TO HANDLE is back and Lana is as watchful as ever. Will this wild cast be able to stick to the rules and abstain from sexual contact (or self-gratification) in order to form meaningful connections, and keep that prize money as high as their sex drives? Or will temptations prove too strong to resist?"
The reality show sees 10 contestants from various countries shipped off to an island paradise, where they think they’re in for a summer of single fun. That is until, a virtual assistant named Lana (think Alexa but more judgmental) tells the group they are on a kissing, self-gratification and sex ban for the summer, to help them form more meaningful relationships.
To enforce the ban, the constants are offered a $200,000 prize, a sum that diminishes every time a rule is broken. So no hooking up unless Lana says so, no matter how much they all want to.
Too Hot To Handle season 4 is available to stream in December on Netflix.
