Tommy Fury has just spilled that he's penned a fresh chapter for his soon-to-launch memoir, after his shock split from influencer Molly-Mae Hague. The 25-year-old Love Island star explained that his highly-anticipated book Lightning Can Strike Twice: My Life as a Fury would hit the shelves soon, though revealed a new piece of information.

Giving fans an update, Tommy announced on Instagram on Tuesday, 17 September that despite his recent break-up from Molly-Mae, his memoir is still dropping as planned next month - and it will be complete with new insights. Sharing a sneak peek with his Instagram followers, the pro boxer explained that he'd add a whole new chapter to the release.

As you all know, the past month for me hasn't been easy but I've been having a lot of questions regarding my book Lightning Can Strike Twice," he said on his Instagram Story. "I just want to come on here and confirm that the book is still coming out next month and it's still available to preorder."

I've written an extra chapter, obviously discussing what's been going on this past month. So yeah, just wanted to say that the book is still going ahead," reports the Mirror.

The reality TV star announced back in March that he was penning his debut book. "Find out what my life is like juggling many identities: a professional boxer, TV star, mental health advocate, fiance and father. Coming this October but available to preorder now," he told his fans a the time.

The news comes one month after Molly-Mae revealed that she and Tommy had gone their separate ways. "Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end. I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter," she wrote on Instagram.

She added: “Without us, there would be no her, she will always be my priority. I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it's right to share this with you all.”

Following the post, Tommy issued a statement of his own. “I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship. The past five years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad,” he wrote.

“Bambi is our priority. Please respect our privacy, and our families' privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time.”
