Timothée Chalamet joining Cartier as ‘friend of the house’

Timothée Chalamet has landed a special gig at Cartier.

The Dune actor is no stranger to the team at the luxury brand, having previously sported Cartier watches and jewellery to high-profile Hollywood events.

However, Chalamet is now officially joining the Cartier family, with executives naming him as a “friend of the house”.

“We are delighted to continue our longstanding relationship with Timothée by having him officially join the Maison as a Friend of the House,” shared Arnaud Carrez, Cartier’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer, in a statement. “As a man of passion, independence, open-mindedness and creativity, Timothée’s bold approach to life – conveyed through his professional choices and his free-spirited style – is intrinsically aligned with Cartier’s core values.”

As part of the role, Chalamet will continue to collaborate with the team at Cartier on his looks for appearances and events. Previously, film director Sofia Coppola served as a “friend of the house”, and designed her own capsule collection for the brand.

Other Cartier brand ambassadors include Lily Collins and Annabelle Wallis.
