TikTok star shot dead with partner in horror gang attack
TikTok content creator Gordo Peruci, whose real name is Leovardo Asipuro Soto, and his wife were struck down by a group of armed men who opened fire on the pair outside their house. Leovardo tragically died on the spot while his wife, Brenda Félix, was rushed to hospital in critical condition before later dying from her injuries.
The killing happened outside their residence in Culiacán, north-western Mexico, at around 10pm on December 9, The Sun reports. Police have opened an investigation into their deaths, but no arrests have been reported yet. He leaves behind his four children The social media sensation amassed thousands of followers across platforms such as YouTube and TikTok. In most of his videos, he played games with pals, ate out at restaurants and joked about organised crime groups.
His YouTube channel had 172,000 subscribers who watched him perform sketches and tell humorous stories. According to Infobae, he shared two videos on the same day he was killed.

The star gained fame for his collaborations with Marco Eduardo Castro Cardenas. Marco, who has 4.8 million Instagram fans, recently announced he'd left his home city of Culiacán to hide out in Cuba after his businesses were allegedly attacked by a criminal gang, according to NeedToKnow.
The heartbreaking news comes just days after another TikTok star and model was shot dead outside a gym.
Fedra Oded Gaxiola Orozco, 24, was shot dead in broad daylight while sitting in her Mercedes Benz last week. She was outside the Hardcore Fitness Gym in the López Lucio neighbourhood of Tijuana, Mexico, when she lost her life.
The gunman shot several times through the window and the car door before fleeing the scene, The Sun reports. She was taken to hospital but was later pronounced dead.
In recent weeks, The Latin Times reported criminal groups have relied on social media to spread their messages and garner support for their cause.
Back in October, another TikTok star, known as El Chilango, was killed by two men while recording one of his videos.
