As a non-glasses wearer I totally accept that I'm in no position to complain about the 4 months of the year it's sunny enough to warrant getting my Ray-Bans out, but what I do want to know is, how the hell do you cope with those annoying red marks on your nose 365 days a year?

Side note, prepare to feel stupid when you realise why Ray-Bans are called Ray-Bans...

But back to the matter at hand, those pesky red marks.

You finally made an effort with your appearance (after those lost lockdown months) and put some makeup on, but as soon as you remove your sunglasses for your group selfie, you're left with bright red indentations on either side of your nose.

If that wasn't irritating enough, they refuse to go. Hours pass, sometimes days (okay, I'm being dramatic) and somehow your nose still has two empty foundation holes.

Thankfully TikTok has once again come to our beauty rescue, in particular user @Elliemakeupartist who shared her hack for preventing the dreaded glasses marks.

Even better, it's surprisingly easy, all you need to do is apply an eyeshadow primer to the sides of your nose first.

Yes, it's literally that simple.

Ellie's eyeshadow primer of choice? MAC's Pro Longwear Paint Pot, which comes in a variety of different shades to suit all skin tones.

It also just so happens to be one of my favourite eyeshadow primers as well, so now I can prime my lids as well as my nose.

TikTok, you never fail to amaze me.
