  • Tiger King's Jeff Lowe just announced he and his wife are getting their own spin-off show.

  • The zoo owner says the series will divulge into the "relationship between him and Joe Exotic."

His close relationship with his very hot nanny left many viewers of Tiger King wondering just what happened to Jeff Lowe.

The zoo owner and his wife Lauren Dropla briefly appeared on the show's reunion episode back in April. And now, the couple are set to return with their own reality TV spin-off series.

According to Jeff, the series will show a lot more information about the "relationship between him and Joe Exotic," as well as the daily struggles of running a zoo.

"It'll be our narrative on the Tiger King with evidence to support our sides of the stories. And it will be about the transfer of all these beautiful animals from Joe's facility to the new facility," he told People.

"And then the day-to-day struggle of running something as big as a 60-acre animal park and all the intricacies of the employment of zookeepers and fighting all of the animal rights groups.

"They haven't even given us an exact date of production. It's in pre-production right now. It's with The Content Group in California, and it will prove to be very, very informative.

"We're filming B-roll right now. It's hard with COVID-19 to put crews together and get them all out here, staying in hotels. It's just a little bit difficult, but I think they anticipate a few more weeks before they start all of the big camera filming."

Viewers of the Netflix series will know Jeff starting working as Joe's business partner and the investor for his GW Zoo.

Most recently, a federal judge gave control of the zoo to Carole Baskin, in lieu of payment of a $1 million trademark judgment.

Now, Jeff is building his own zoo, Tiger King Park in Oklahoma, where the animals from Joe's former business will be rehomed

He added: "Please don't worry about our animals. As you saw on the Netflix documentary, I have been building the greatest Tiger Park the world has ever seen."

Joe and Jeff certainly haven't had the easiest of relationships. Speaking in April's reunion episode, he said, "Joe didn't get set up. Joe killed the tigers; he admitted to killing the tigers from jail," adding that the Tiger King is where he belongs in prison.
