In Conversation with Carol Kirkwood, which is part of a three-day festival of events, will see fans enjoy a delicious brunch in central London, while listening to the beloved weather presenter, talk about romance, early starts and what brings her the most joy with Good Housekeeping's editor-in-chief Gaby Huddart.
Carol, who has been presenting the weather on BBC Breakfast since joining the team back in 1998, will be spilling the beans on her forecasting career and what inspired her to writer her first novel, Under a Greek Moon, which rapidly became a best-seller.
Although, she is loved for her cheerful delivery of the weather, not many people know that Carol's day actually starts at a punishing 2.45am, as she has to be at work well ahead of the first broadcast.
Guests will hear about how she trained to become an expert in her field as well as how worried she is about climate change and how she tackles the issue in her daily life.
With her second novel, A Hotel on the Rivera, set to be released this coming July, Carol will also tell us about her experience of becoming a novelist, share her own feelings about romance and details about the most romantic thing that’s ever happened to her.
Her gift of making viewers feel happy thanks to her her perennially cheerful disposition is well known and fans will hear about her favourite things in life and memories of her happy dancing days on the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor.
Taking place on Saturday 25 June in the elegant setting of Carlton House Terrace, beautifully scented by Zoflora, in the heart of London’s St James’s, this is an event not to be missed.
Tickets are limited and cost £120. This includes the talk, a signed book, a delicious brunch and a goody bag worth more than £50.
