Thrifty Or Weird? People Are Repurposing Their Lateral Flow Pipettes As Soy Sauce Containers

We're no strangers to a wacky hack here at Delish. From using ice to reheat leftover rice, rolling butter to make candles and making meatballs using a spaghetti spoon, there's nothing we love more than discovering weird and wonderful ways to do pretty mundane, tedious things. So when we came across @alicepotter's video on TikTok, we just had to let you guys know.

Posted just days ago, @alicepotter uploaded a video using leftover lateral flow pipettes as portable soy sauce containers. Yep, you read that correct.

Captioned, "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle," the video shows @alicepotter pouring soy sauce (from a lateral flow pipette) over sushi.

Honestly, nothing surprises us anymore...

Now, we're unsure how to feel about this, and by the look of things, we're not the only ones. One person commented, "this feels illegally legal," while another said, "why is this kinda good."

The TikTok has caused quite a scene online, gaining over 1.1 million views along with 98,000 likes and hundreds of comments.

In other TikTok-related news, we've just discovered something we can totally get on board with... CUSTARD TOAST.

Yep, we're talking about a piece of toast smothered in a custard-like concoction, topped with strawberries (or some sort of fruit) and then baked in the oven.

With the hashtag #custardtoast receiving over 2.4 million views in a matter of days, it's clear everyone's obsessing over this all-in-one dessert/breakfast trend just as much as we are.
