Travis Barker
Travis Barker, 47, found fame as the drummer for Blink-182, along with Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge from 1998 to 2005, and then again since 2009. However, from 2005 to 2009 Barker and Hoppus were part of the band Plus 44. Since 2002, Travis has drummed for Transplants, not to mention he was also part of Box Car Racer from 2001 to 2003, and then again in 2021. Slash
Saul Hudson, 57, is known as Slash to music fans around the world. Slash joined Guns N’ Roses in 1985 after being asked by Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin, but his journey to becoming a guitar god had started before then. Before joining the now legendary band, Slash was part of Tidus Sloan along with Ron Schneider, Adam Greenberg and Louie Metz. After falling out with Axl and quitting the 'Welcome To The Jungle' group, Slash was part of metal band Velvet Revolver, which also included fellow ex Guns N' Roses members Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, Dave Kushner and Scott Weiland from 2002 to 2008. Dave Grohl
Dave Grohl, 54, is a rock god thanks to him being the frontman for Foo Fighters, whose hits include 'Everlong', 'Best of You' and 'My Hero'. But before that, Grohl was the drummer for one of the most influential bands of all time; Nirvana. Grohl joined Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic's grunge band in 1990 after his first group Scream split. Together they released 'Nevermind' and 'In Utero' and became the biggest music act in the world until Cobain's untimely death in 1994 at the age of 27. Between 2009 and 2010, and then again in 2022, Grohl teamed up with friends Josh Homme and John Paul Jones in Them Crooked Vultures.©BANG Showbiz - 5/11

Jack White
Jack White, 47, shot to fame as the frontman of rock duo The White Stripes, whose songs include ‘Seven Nation Army’ and ‘Blue Orchid’. Jack was joined in the act by Meg White - who was his wife from between 1996 and 2000, They hit the mainstream in 2002 and led the garage rock revival of the 2000s, releasing six albums in total. They called it quits in 2011, and by that time Jack was already playing in side project The Racounters, along with Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler. He is also part of another successful project, The Dead Weather, alongside Alison Mosshart, Dean Fertita and Jack Lawrence. Josh Homme
Since 1985, Josh Homme, 49, has shown his talent in multiple bands, finding the most success in Queens of the Stone Age along with Troy Van Leeuwen and Michael Shuman. Homme, however, has also been part of other successful projects, including Them Crooked Vultures, as well as Eagles of Death Metal, along with Jesse Hughes. Eagles of Death Metal were involved in an horrific tragedy. When the group performed at Paris’ Bataclan Theater on November 13, 2015, a group of Islamic terrorists attacked the venue killing around 90 music fans.©BANG Showbiz - 8/11
Thom Yorke
Thom Yorke, 54, is the singer and main songwriter in iconic British indie band Radiohead - in which he is joined by Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien and Philip Selway. The band's third LP, 1997's 'OK Computer', propelled them to global success due to songs like 'Paranoid Android', 'No Surprises' and 'Karma Police'. York has also turned his attention to other projects, including Atoms For Peace and The Smile. The Smile was formed in 2020 and also includes his Radiohead bandmate Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner. Dave Navarro
Dave Navarro, 56, has been the lead guitarist of Jane’s Addiction since 1985, and he is joined in the current line-up by Perry Farrell, Stephen Perkins and Eric Avery. Between 1993 and 1998, Dave was the guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, with whom he released the album ‘One Hot Minute’. Apart from that, Navarro teamed up with some fellow Jane’s Addiction band members (Steve Isaacs, Stephen Perkins, Chris Chaney and Siggy Sjursen), following a band split, to found The Panic Channel, which was active from 2004 to 2007. Damon Albarn
Damon Albarn, 54, was on e of the biggest stars of the '90s Britpop movement as the singer in Blur - in which he is joined by Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree. The indie group had three hit albums in that decade, the biggest of which was 1994's 'Parklife'. In August 1995, Blur released single 'Country House' the same week as Britpop rivals Oasis who unveiled the song 'Roll With It' and it was Blur who claimed the number one spot, leaving Liam and Noel to settle fro number two. In 1998, Damon formed cartoon pop group Gorillaz, known for having four fictional members Murdoc Niccals, 2-D, Noodle and Russel Hobbs. The band has just released their eighth studio album 'Cracker Island' to critical acclaim. Damon has also formed a third successful band, teaming up with Paul Simonon, Simon Tong and Tony Allen to create The Good, the Bad & the Queen. Sir Paul McCartney, 80, needs no introduction. Paul, John Lennon, George Harrison and Sir Ringo Star were The Beatles and are responsible for creating some of the greatest songs of all-time. The Fab Four's incredible musical journey only lasted from 1960 to 1970, comprised of 13 studio albums. Since they split, McCartney has released a host of solo LPs through the decades and formed Wings in 1971 with his late wife Linda McCartney. The band enjoyed huge success for the next decade, peaking with their 1973 album 'Band On The Run'.
