If you’ve been keeping up to date with everything Yeezy, you’re probably aware of the famous ‘sock boot’.

Since their arrival along with Yeezy Footwear Season 1, they’ve been spotted on Kim Kardashian (yep, you guessed it), and Kylie and Kendall Jenner to name a few.

Love them or hate them, they don’t come at a low price - around £600 ($800), to be precise.

But all is not lost. Thanks to one YouTuber’s genius DIY tutorial, they can be yours at the price of some average court shoes and socks.

Shay Cherise of TheNuVogue shared a video on Instagram titled “DIY YEEZY SOCK HEELS” along with a list of the kit you need to make the shoes.

Impressively, there are only five things on the list: Socks, pumps, a hot glue gun, sandpaper sheets and scissors.

In a nutshell, she pulls a pair of knitted socks over her shoes, cutting a hole for the heel and gluing some sandpaper to the sole to prevent slippage.

As easy as that - or at least, she makes it look that easy.

The video has had more than 75,000 views since it was posted a week ago, and the comments are full of fans enthusiastically tagging another to try the project out.

So don’t be surprised if you see some DIY Yeezy boots on a street near you soon.
