Season 2 of Emily in Paris is right around the corner, and we couldn't be more excited. But while we count down the days to Lily Collins' Parisian return we've all got one pressing (and slightly greedy) question, is there going to be a third series of Emily in Paris?

First things first, Netflix has yet to officially confirm a third instalment of the show, but with season 2 not even out yet it would be pretty early days to have a confirmation at this point. However, if the popularity of the series and Netflix's renewal history is anything to go by, we're feeling pretty confident.

Back in 2020 the series quickly became a huge hit with fans and took social media by storm, as a result Netflix renewed the show for a second season just a matter of weeks after it first landed on the streamer. Plus, we can't imagine they're in any rush to cancel one of their most successful original series if there's still interest. So far, so promising.

Another good indication about series 3 came from show star Lily Collins herself, who posted a series of behind the scenes pictures on Instagram of the cast filming series 2.

But it wasn't so much the pictures themselves as the caption that came with them:

"Au revoir, Paris! I feel so lucky to have spent these last few months in this beautiful city. I’m leaving here filled with so many amazing memories, special moments with my family, endless appreciation to our incredible dedicated and talented crew, and another season officially wrapped! Very excited to share it with you all soon. We’re heading home, but keeping a little piece of us here until the next time…"

Clearly, "next time" is a massive hint about series 3. It seems like we're not the only ones greedy for more E in P.
