These fur-lined clogs rival the Birkenstock Boston and are just $30 for Black Friday
Get them on sale in five colors and wear them all season long — they're so comfy and cozy!
Birkenstock clogs are a classic for a reason: They're comfy, have a timeless casual style that goes with everything and they're durable. The thing is, while they could be considered a good investment, they're still pretty pricey. The brand's shearling-lined Boston Clogs as comfy, cozy and ideal for the colder months .. and they cost $170. But we have some good news: We found a similar clog style at Amazon so you can still get the look — and it costs at least five times less.
These clogs have a cloud-like footbed and come in five colors — all are at least 20% off right now.
Why is this a good deal? 💰
The Kidmi Women's Fur Lined Suede Clogs are 20% off, bringing these babies down to just $38. However, the taupe color also has an on-page coupon you can "clip" for an extra 20% off, bringing them down to just 30 bucks. That's a great deal, especially considering how often you'll likely wear them — and you'll wear them a lot. They're so comfy and versatile!
Why do I need these? 🤔
Well, if you've been wanting a pair of Birkenstocks but aren't quite ready to shell out all your cash for them, these Kidmi clogs are a good alternative. They feature a faux-fur lining paired with 100% genuine suede leather that's water-resistant. And they're so soft, the brand says you could even wear them without socks (like slippers).
If you're looking for something that feels like you're walking on a cloud, but doesn't skimp on support, they have an ergonomically-shaped, cushioned footbed. Plus, they have a non-slip rubber sole to keep you on your feet in any wet weather.
They come in taupe, brown, black, dark green and gray, and after trying them out, you may want to buy more than one pair. Luckily, at this price, you probably can. One thing to note though: If you like a roomier fit or have wide feet, the brand suggests choosing a half-size up.
What reviewers say 💬
Unlike the name brand version, these shoes are relatively new — they launched at Amazon just last May. That said, they have plenty of five-star ratings, and according to the retailer, more than 1,000 shoppers have bought them in the last month alone.
Pros 👍
"I bought a pair for my mom and for myself. My mom wears these all day at work. She works retail and she’s on her feet for 8-12 hours 5-6 days a week," explained one shopper. "I typically wear tennis shoes and Crocs, and I’d agree these are comfortable. ... I wear these walking my dog and running errands. They are easy to slip on and off. If I don’t want to wear Crocs and it’s a bit colder out, I wear these."
"These were really comfortable and the quality was a pleasant surprise," added one shopper. "I have recommended them to several people and wear them a lot. I also ordered them without fur and those were great too!"
"I’m usually a Birkenstock girl but couldn’t justify the cost in this economy. These are a win! So warm! Great quality," said another.
"I bought a brown pair and black pair," wrote a fan. "I wear them with thick socks and they fit. They stay on your feet. I have worn the brown more, and I have no structural concerns. If your feet are wide, I might go up a size."
Cons 👎
Some shoppers said that the shoes aren't as supportive as they'd like, and say that the suede outer is a bit stiff. They also recommend sizing up.
"These are not as supportive as Birks, let’s just get that out of the way," said one four-star reviewer. "However, these are great for the price. I wear a size 41 in Birks, so I ordered the same size. They’re a little snug, but I think it’s because of the fuzz inside, so if you plan on wearing socks with these, I’d go up a half size at least."
Another person described them as "warm and fuzzy, nice quality," but added that, "the outer lining is a little tough, but that was expected. Nice pair of less expensive [clogs]."
"These are comfy, cozy, soft and easy to slip on and off," said another. "They run a little bit small, so I went up a half size. The only con for me is that they are a little bit stiff in the toe box. I'm hoping with wear, that they will soften up."
The green color is a dark, neutral shade that is versatile enough to were with jeans or leggings — we also love them with a maxi skirt!
