For many of us, with the beginning of 2017 will come many resolutions we hope to keep; in health, love and our careers.

If you’re thinking of going job hunting to bolster your career, listen up – the top 25 companies to work for in 2016 have been revealed by Glassdoor.

And according to comments and ratings by these companies’ employees, flexibility, good leadership and opportunities are pretty important to us (of course).

Good news if you work for Expedia already – the travel company has come up top for the second year running thanks to its “amazing leaders”, “good opportunities” and “amazing people”, according to its workers.

Second came software design company ARM Holdings which shot up by five places since 2016, followed by insurance and repair provider HomeServe UK.

Multinational giant Unilever climbed to seventh place, stepping up two places since last year, while American Express holds 11th place thanks to encouraging its employees to “try new things”, as one review read.

Despite our dreams of working in its (apparently) shiny fun offices, Google has slipped to 13th place from eighth last year.

The BBC came 18th, so we can certainly watch plenty of TV knowing that their employees are in good hands.

We need not only love Nando’s for its delicious chicken too, as it scored 20th – which one employee rated highly because of its flexibility and paying well above the minimum wage.

If you work at one of these companies, lucky you – and if not, we’re kind of jealous.
