There's a new dry shampoo that actually cleans your hair – and it has transformed my morning routine

·2-min read

A hard-working dry shampoo is essential in every haircare routine for those times when you're running late, you're heading straight out after work, or your locks are just feeling a little flat between washes.

That said, we've never been huge fans of that sticky, chalky feeling you often get after using dry shampoo – not to mention the talc-like white residue that can linger on your scalp with some formulas, leaving your hair feeling heavy, limp and in desperate need of a wash.

So, you can bet we were intrigued when we heard about a brand new launch from cult haircare brand Living Proof...

The brand's new Perfect Hair Day Advanced Dry Shampoo actually promises to clean your hair without water, cleansing and caring for your strands like a rinse-out shampoo.

Not only does the new dry shampoo clean your locks by eliminating oil, sweat and odour, but the innovative formula claims to take care of your hair and scalp too, leaving you with clean, soft and manageable strands.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Advanced Dry Shampoo: Review

Sounds like a game-changer, right? Well, we were eager to put the new Living Proof Advanced Dry Shampoo to the test, and can confirm that it really does deliver on all of the above.

The new Living Proof dry shampoo has become an absolute must-have in our morning routines, perfect for refreshing hair when we're in a hurry.

It genuinely does leave you with hair that feels freshly washed, but with added volume for a blow-dried feel. There's no residue or stickiness – in fact, hair feels super soft – and you don't have to spend ages brushing out white powder either. Best of all, it smells like an absolute dream.

Safe to say, we're not sure how we lived without it.

The new Living Proof Advanced Dry Shampoo, £23, is available to shop exclusively at Cult Beauty.

We're stocking up so we can keep a bottle on our dressing table, one in our gym bag and another in our everyday tote because, to be honest, it really is our new favourite thing.
