The satisfying snap of the shell of a chocolate Easter egg really is up there when it comes to the best ASMR food moments, and it is truly the pits when it doesn't live up to expectation.

No-one likes a flimsy egg, and thank goodness for Cadbury because their latest launch will ensure absolutely no flimsiness whatsoever. The chocolate giant has released two new Easter eggs, one of which promises an extra thick shell to beat all shells.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk Chunky Egg uses whopping 515g of Dairy Milk Chocolate to create the thick shell, compared to just 286g in the classic Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Easter Egg.

The treats don't stop there, the new egg will also come with two Dairy Milk chocolate bars inside to give to your jealous friends.

For those more partial to a bit of white choc, Cadbury has also launched a brand-new Cadbury Oreo White Egg. The egg will be made from smooth white chocolate with crunchy Oreo pieces. It's basically milk and cookies, yum.

Both eggs will be available in shops for £12, so keep your eyes peeled!

Cadbury is also bringing back treats (who doesn't love a little treat?) inside small Easter eggs. Small Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons, White Buttons, Freddo Faces, Caramel Nibbles, Giant Buttons and Cadbury Mini Egg Easter eggs will each contain their namesake chocolates inside and they're on sale for just £2.50 which is an absolute bargain.

Laura Gray, senior brand manager for Cadbury Easter, said: “Our new treat filled shell-eggs will certainly bring back that feeling of nostalgia and magic for the consumers, now that they can crack them open to reveal and enjoy all of the delicious chocolates stored inside.”

Easter can't come quick enough!
