Tess Daly teases possibility that husband Vernon Kay could do 'Strictly'
Tess Daly has suggested that there's a chance her husband Vernon Kay will take part in Strictly Come Dancing.
Daly has been one of the hosts of the BBC dance spectacular since it launched in, first alongside the late Bruce Forsyth and then with Claudia Winkleman.

She told the Mirror that last year's surprise package contestant Dan Walker showed tall men can make it work on the dance floor, which could open the door for her husband.
"Wasn’t Dan brilliant? We never saw that coming. And he’s an inch taller than Vern," said Daly.

BBC Breakfast presenter Walker was a fan favourite contestant throughout the 2021 series of Strictly, making it to the quarter-final alongside professional partner Nadiya Bychkova.
Daly added: "I have to say, when I first met Vernon, I was quite impressed by his dancing skills.

"As of late, it’s mostly been at home, doing the kitchen disco but who knows? I mean, he loves the show so much, and he’s had years of practice from watching it with the girls while I’ve been in the studio."
She fell short of confirming Kay's desire to take part though, stating that "you'd definitely have to ask him" whether he fancies competing for the famous glitterball trophy.
Daly said she has no plans to say goodbye to Strictly any time soon, saying it felt "new and fresh" last year and that she had "never felt anything like [winner Rose Ayling-Ellis]’s silent dance".
She added: "I can’t imagine being anywhere else. This will be the 18th year, and I’m still so passionate about it. I love the realness of it, not knowing what’s going to happen next."

Strictly Come Dancing will return once again later this year, but will be without popular professional dancer Oti Mabuse who recently confirmed her departure.
The only pro to win the competition two years in a row, she recently joined the judging panel of ITV show Dancing On Ice.
