The outfits worn by the Strictly Come Dancing contestants on the dancefloor might be glitzy, but presenter Tess Daly was equally eye-catching in her outfit on Saturday night.
Daly looked incredible in a sequin dress by British label Rixo. A glamorous look, the Tyra Sequinned Dress (£385) featured a thigh-high split, a wrap-effect and three-quarter-length sleeves.
The 50-year-old’s worn a number of exciting ensembles throughout her tenure as presenter, but the statement dress she wore on Saturday’s show is arguably one of her best yet.
And her fans clearly agreed. Daly posted a photo on the dress on her Instagram, promptly receiving rave reviews from her fans.
“That dress! Where is it from please?,” asked one of her followers.
“Absolutely stunning dress,” said one user. Another wrote: “That dress is EVERYTHING.”
In contrast, Daly’s co-presenter, Claudia Winkleman, wore a long sleeved back velvet dress by Australian designer Alex Perry, which she paired with statement red heels.
Rixo, a London-based label, was created by best friends Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey. The brand is quickly becoming a celebrity must-have, the labels ‘70s-inspired designs also having been seen on Holly Willoughby, Selena Gomez and Millie Mackintosh.
It’s not surprising it’s garnered such a big following. The designs are flattering and unique. The silhouettes are timeless, designed using vintage-inspired shapes and original, hand-painted prints.
But, they come with rather a steep price tag. So, if Daly’s £385 look isn’t an option for you, take a look at the more affordable sequin buys we’ve sourced.
After all, it’s never too early to start shopping for Christmas party season.
