Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly has shared some fun throwback pictures with husband Vernon Kay from a show the pair worked on together.

In one photo, the pair pose back to back holding vintage microphones as though they’re in the middle of a lively singalong.

The second image shows Vernon kissing Tess on the cheek while she grins in a close embrace with her husband.

Tess said the photos were taken “around 15 years ago (at a guess)” for a TV show called Just the Two of Us.

“What a giggle that was,” said the presenter, before adding, “I love that you’ve now got pretty much the same hairdo Vern!” in a joking swipe at her husband.

Famous friends were quick to comment on the sweet post, with presenter Gethin Jones saying, “Haha I remember this!” and Stacey Dooley adding, “CUUUUUUUUTE!”

Tess and Vernon have been married since 2003 and have two daughters together called Phoebe and Amber. Tess describes herself as a “mum of teen & tween” in her Instagram bio.

Tess frequently posted about her husband while Vernon was competing in the latest series of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. This was the first series to take place in the UK, in a Welsh castle, instead of abroad, due to Covid 19 restrictions.

During the process, Tess cheered him on from home with their daughters by posting family snaps and sharing memories Vernon referenced during the show, such as their wedding vow renewal.
