Tesco Launches 16 DIFFERENT Pigs In Blankets For Christmas, And The Flavours Are Wild
If you’re anything like us, you’ll agree that pigs in blankets take the title for best Christmas trimming. Yes, we hear you cry, "what about the roast potatoes?" but pigs in blankets trump tatties because they're just so versatile. You can enjoy these porky delights in the form of party canapés, crammed into Christmas sandwiches, or alongside turkey on the “big day” itself.
Which is why Tesco revealing their biggest ever range of pigs in blankets was our equivalent of Kim Kardashian breaking the internet… but better.
This year, the supermarket will be offering more than 16 variations on the sausage staple, including four new flavours for 2022:
Tesco Finest Candy Cane Pigs in Blankets with Honey & Rosemary. Think succulent pork sausages combined with honey and rosemary in the shape of a candy cane, of course. £3.50, available from 5 December.
Tesco Apple & Cranberry Pigs in Blankets. Packed with apples, cranberries and pork, these bacon-wrapped blankets are full of festive flavour. £2.25, available from 21 November.
Tesco Finest Chorizo Pigs in Blankets. Beat the December chill with these spicy chorizo-style pork sausages flavoured with smoky red peppers, paprika and garlic. £4.50, available from 31 October.
Wicked Kitchen Meat-Free Mini Maple Bangers in Blankets. An all-vegan banger flavoured with maple and warm mustard, wrapped in savoury wheat protein blankets. £3.50, available from 12 December.
Mouth-watering stuff, right? The news just got better, because we’ll also be welcoming the return of Tesco’s Cheesy Pigs in Blankets (£2.25). And if that Christmassy craving hits you on the move, then you’ll be pleased to know that they’ve taken all the flavour of pigs in blankets and created a combo snack mix (£1.65), peanuts (£1.20), and popped chips (£1.15).
