Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen twin in matching suits at Producers Guild Awards
Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen just further cemented their status as one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples by successfully pulling off one of the biggest taboos in the relationship rule book – matching outfits.
Last night, the A-list duo attended the 2019 Producers Guild of America Awards to present the Stanley Kramer Award to Jane Fonda.
But the media spotlight was well and truly fixated on the couple, as they took to the stage in co-ordinating suits.
Danson, 71, stuck to the red carpet brief in a monochrome two-piece with a matching tie and polished shoes to finish.
In a surprise move which demonstrates his sartorial prowess, Steenburgen sought fashion tips from her husband of 27 years’ wardrobe in a similar ensemble.
The actress also dressed in a slick co-ord accessorised with blush pink velvet courts and a matching clutch – the failsafe recipe for a camera-ready outfit. But it was the 65-year-old’s loose tie which really earned her extra style points.
Though it’s not the first time the fashionable couple have graced the red carpet suited and booted, as the duo also wore matching ensembles during the 2018 Toronto Film Festival.
Steenburgen gave us all a lesson in nonchalant chic wearing a super cool tux (with the satin bow left undone of course) complete with jewel-emblazoned brogues for the Wild Rose Party.
Meanwhile, ‘The Good Place’ star Danson proved the perfect date in a dapper suit and his trademark glasses.
If that isn’t the definition of #CoupleGoals, then we’re not sure what is…
