Taylor Swift wins Video of the Year at MTV Video Music Awards

The Shake It Off singer collected the coveted Video of the Year moonperson trophy at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey in honour of the short film she directed for All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version). The pop star ultimately went home with three awards in total, including best longform video and best direction for the same release. According to Billboard, Taylor is the first artist to win Video of the Year three times. The wins bring her lifetime VMAs haul to 14, putting her in fourth place behind Beyoncé, Madonna, and Lady Gaga. The All Too Well short film, starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O'Brien, also marks the first time that a video directed solely by the artist has won Video of the Year
