Taylor Swift’s NYC Night Out Look Effortlessly Pulls From Rachel Green’s Iconic ’90s Wardrobe

Taylor Swift is in her Rachel Green era. And if the most powerful woman in the country right now, maybe even the world, is going to pull from someone’s wardrobe, the Friends character is a pretty solid option.
The “Look What You Made Me Do” singer was spotted in Manhattan for a girl’s night out with longtime BFFs Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and Sophie Turner. New friend Brittany Mahomes also joined the group. Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and Mahomes’s husband, Patrick, play for the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs together.
The 33-year-old opted for the perfect late fall outfit with a black long sleeve top, brown pleated plaid skirt from Miu Miu, a skinny low-waisted belt and thigh-high heeled boots from Stella McCartney. The Grammy Award winner accessorized with a dainty pendant necklace, a stack of gold earrings and a bucket bag and opted for her signature red lip and winged eyeliner glam.

The outfit was eerily similar to an ensemble that Jennifer Anniston wore in Season 10 of the NBC sitcom, which wrapped up in 2004.
In episode 15, “The One Where Estelle Dies,” Green wore a black turtleneck top with a pleated brown patterned skirt, sheer black tights a thick black belt and knee-high heeled boots. Both women styled their bangs into a fresh blowout, while Swift pulled the rest of her dark blonde hair back and Aniston left her light brown locks down and perfectly straight. The look made it on Business Insider’s list of “Rachel Green’s 35 best outfits on Friends.”
