Taylor Swift released her seventh studio album Lover last month and it drove fans wild, from the mystery of missing lyrics, to the theory that her album title track is proof she dated model Karlie Kloss.

Now, Taylor has announced the tour dates for her Lover 2020 worldwide tour, as well as four special festival-style concerts called Lover Fest East and West.

Taylor made the announcement on Twitter, writing: "The Lover album is open fields, sunsets, + SUMMER.

"I want to perform it in a way that feels authentic. I want to go to some places I haven’t been and play festivals. Where we didn’t have festivals, we made some. Introducing, Lover Fest East + West!"

At the moment, the tour is set to kick off in Belgium in June 2020, before carrying on through Europe and Brazil. Taylor's last stops on the road will be in the US in August 2020, as she ends with the four Lover Fest dates in Los Angeles and Foxborough.

Right now, UK tour dates haven't been revealed, but Taylor promises "additional UK and international dates and festivals will be announced soon."

The first two Lover Festival dates, Lover Fest West, will be hosted in Los Angeles at the new SoFi Stadium. With Taylor's concert set to be the first ever event held at the venue, Taylor will be the first woman in history to open an NFL stadium.

Then, she'll go on to Lover Fest East which will take place at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

Taylor recently shared praise for Lover on her Instagram, with critics saying "Lover is a career-topping masterpiece" and calling the album "a masterful, heartfelt pop spectacle."

If that's anything to go by, this tour is sure to be a huge one.
