Nobody never imagined the ‘Transformers’ actress would ever be in a relationship with one of the “bad boys” of the music industry. But it did happen, and nobody saw it coming! Megan Fox, 36, and Machine Gun Kelly, 32, have been dating since June 2020, and despite a rocky past few weeks due to "trust issues" they are still an item. Megan was surprised when she was criticised for dating a younger guy, despite them both being in their 30s. She told InStyle last year: “There’s so much judgment. You want to talk about patriarchy? The fact that he’s four years younger than me, and people want to act like I’m dating a younger man. He’s 31, and I’m 35. Granted, he’s lived like he’s 19 his whole life, but he isn’t 19. No one would blink twice if George Clooney was dating someone four years younger.”

Many of Pete Davidson’s relationships have been quite unexpected, but the one he had with actress Kate Beckinsale was probably the most surprising. At 49, Kate is 20 years older than comedian Pete, 29. Kate - who was previously in a long-term relationship with actor Michael Sheen - has always been protective of her private life, but she and Pete couldn't escape the media's glare. When asked about her romance with the ‘Saturday Night Live’ comic, the 'Underworld' actress said: “I’m surprised by the interest. I’ve never been in this position before - never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief. It’s all quite shocking, and something to get used to. I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it. If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it’s not.” Their romance didn't last long though, the pair split in April 2019 after four months together.

What do a rom-com actress and a punk rock star have in common? Apparently, much more than we could possibly imagine! ‘The Holiday’ star Cameron Diaz, 50, has been married to Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, 43, since 2015. The news of their serious relationship came as a surprise to most people, as both of them were serial daters. Benji previously "had high-profiles romances with Paris Hilton, Katy Perry, Holly Madison and Australian star Sophie Monk, whom he was once engaged to, before settling down with Cameron".

Something quite similar happened to ‘Lizzie McGuire’ actress Hilary Duff, 35, who dated Benji’s brother and Good Charlotte bandmate Joel Madden, 43, from 2003 to 2006. Hilary was known as a "naive, innocent" girl, while he was one of the "bad boys" of the music industry. Discussing people's prejudices in 2006, Hilary said: "You're automatically prejudging us because Joel has tattoos or I have blond hair. He has tattoos so he's bad, I smile all the time, so I'm perfect."

Back in 2010, comedian Chelsea Handler, 48, and rapper 50 Cent, 47, dated for a couple of months. The shock romance was deemed to be a PR stunt by many commentators, something the pair vehemently denied. It was only a brief romance, but Chelsea has only nice things to say about her former flame. In an interview with ET Canada, she said: “Yeah, I guess he’s my favorite ex. "I mean, I don’t have a favorite ex. I love 50 Cent, he was fun. "He was just a sweetheart and he was fun to be around. My friends loved hanging out with him. I loved hanging out with him. It was a pretty short-lived romance, it was only two months.”

The world was stunned when 'Thor' director Taika Waititi, 47, and pop star Rita Ora, 32, moved their friendship on to the next level. And everyone was even more stunned when the couple secretly got married in 2022! Describing the pair's relationship, Rita said: "He's so, so great. We're friends, and I mean, we met long before we decided to ruin everything. We were friends for six years." Discussing why their wedding was top secret, Rita added: "It was just nice and perfect. Their fledgling romance comes just after the ‘Complicated’ singer announced her separation from singer Mod Sun, 35. The now ex-couple met in 2021 and got engaged in 2022, before calling it quits this year. This week, Mod Sun took to Twitter to thank those who have been supporting him during this difficult break-up. He wrote: “I’m so grateful to have real friends who will sit on the phone with me for 2 hours. If you got those people in your life, do not let them go."

From ‘High School Musical’… to ‘Fast and Furious’? Believe it or not, actress Michelle Rodriguez, 44, briefly dated Zac Efron, 35. They're not an obvious fit, but Michelle says she's not really compatible with anyone. Speaking to ‘Interview’ magazine, she said: "I have absolutely nothing consistent in my life. I'm a lone wolf. I run by myself on most things. I've got lots of really great friends, but the thought of being in a long-lasting relationship?
