Tallulah Willis is channeling mom Demi Moore with her own G.I. Jane-like cut

Lots of people seem to be doing the quarantine head-shave, but Tallulah Willis’s new cut has some added significance: It bears a striking resemblance to the legendary cut her mom wore in the 1997 film G.I. Jane. Whether that allusion is intended or not, we still think it’s sweet!

On April 7th, Tallulah posted an Instagram video of her dad, Bruce Willis, shaving her head during quarantine.

She only commented with the hand-shaking emoji, so we can’t say for sure the reason behind the buzz. In the background of the video, someone mentions that she looks like Joan of Arc. But in the Instagram comments, people are drawing the more obvious parallel to Willis’s mom, Demi Moore.

Moore famously got her own buzz cut to play Lieutenant Jordan O’Neil in the 1997 movie G.I. Jane. She shaved her head on the set of the film, as her character does in the movie.

This actually isn’t the first time Willis has channeled her mom via haircut. Back in December, she got a pixie cut reminiscent of the style Moore wore in the 1990 movie Ghost. That time, Willis specifically called out her mom’s influence. “We did the demi,” Willis captioned her December post.

We’d love to hear Moore’s take on her daughter’s new haircut/possible style tribute. Because the Moore-Willis family is all quarantined together, we’d imagine Moore would be pretty easily available for comment. We’ll report back with any updates.
