This year has been a busy one for the Royal Family Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed baby Archie, Prince Louis turned 1 and their royal highnesses toured the UK and the world.
It’s been a busy year for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Duke of Duchess of Cambridge.Meghan and Harry welcomed their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on the first bank holiday weekend in May. They also squeezed in a quick visit to Morocco ahead of the birth and a number of public engagements and charity events.Following Archie’s arrival, the pair hit headlines at ‘The Lion King’ European premiere in London. Meghan and Beyonce embraced, after meeting for the first time. Meghan also enjoyed a day at Wimbledon with sister-in-law Kate and both women - and their children - supported Prince William and Prince Harry at a charity polo match in Wokingham.But, it was the Sussexes tour of South Africa that was the couple’s big news of the year. The 10-day tour included a visit to Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s legacy foundation, which baby Archie was present for.The Cambridges have had a lot going on in 2019, too. Prince Louis celebrated his first birthday and made his Trooping the Colour debut, Princess Charlotte started school and the couple underwent a five-day tour of Pakistan in October.The pair also attended the BAFTAs, Ascot and Kate pulled the perfect pint in Northern Ireland.Scroll to see some of their highlights.

British actor Gemma Chan made a style statement in a hot pink, supersized Valentino number.At the BAFTAs in May, it was the fuchsia gown worn by ‘Killing Eve’ star Jodie Comer that we couldn’t take our eyes off. A Stella McCartney number, it was a minimalist design featuring an asymmetric neckline and a cape on one shoulder.Later in the year, ‘The Greatest Showman’ actor Zendaya wowed at the Emmys in a stunning, semi-sheer look by US designer Vera Wang. Catherine Zeta-Jones, the only A-lister to appear in our annual best dressed list twice, also hit a style high note in a hot pink Georges Hobeika gown. Jennifer Lopez, star of 2019’s hit film ‘Hustlers’, wowed at the annual Governors Awards in October in a gold, strapless satin gown by Reem Acra. The 50-year-old teamed the gown with a chic updo and a black, box clutch.Another of the event’s attendees, Dakota Johnson, was equally chic in a co-ord: a white, bralette paired with a full, high-waisted skirt.
