Women Are Sharing Stories Of Being #HarassedAtWork
Working in collaboration with the Everyday Sexism Project, the TUC’s survey of 1,500 women found that one third of women had been subjected to unwelcome jokes at the workplace, while a quarter experienced unwanted touching. Many recollections are of being harassed while young in the workplace, which is also reflective of the numbers - two thirds (63%) of women aged between 18 and 24 surveyed said they had been sexually harassed at work - a much higher proportion.
