Prince Philip did attend the wedding of his granddaughter, Princess Eugenie, but the tension between the 97-year-old and Sarah Ferguson was clear to see, says royal expert Duncan Larcombe. Larcombe, who spent over a decade working as the royal editor at The Sun, admitted that Philip turning up at today’s wedding as a “big deal”. Speaking to Kate Thornton during episode nine of ‘The Royal Box‘, Larcombe spoke of Philip and Fergie’s infamous feud and confirmed that this is the closest proximity we’ve seen the pair in years.
