Maison Margiela Couture Show Reminds Us of Picasso ... and a Snapchat Filter
John Galliano never ceases to surprise us. For his latest couture collection for Maison Margiela, the designer debuted an artful collection inspired by both Picasso and Snapchat. On the runway, models showcased sheer veils, featuring silhouettes of facial elements, eyes, noses, and mouths, reminiscent of Picasso’s Cubist paintings.
