The work and red carpet wardrobe of human rights attorney Amal Clooney is something we can all admire, but few of us actually have the means to copy it. The paparazzi snapped Amal and George Clooney either en route or coming home from a game of tennis in matching black outfits.
For most people, a trip to the airport requires minimal outfit planning. Leggings? Check. Oversized sweatshirt? Check. Ridiculous fuzzy socks you bought on super-sale at CVS? Check. Comfort is key, and aesthetics are more of an afterthought — it's not like your next great Instagram is going to be taken at baggage claim.
School may be out for the summer, but the celeb world is still ticking along with just as many premieres – and, therefore, more winning red carpet looks – as usual. Behold, this week’s best dressed celebrities. Camila Alves and husband Matthew McConaughey were couple goals personified at the premiere of the latter’s latest flick. Alves looked spectacular in a dramatic gown by Beirut-based haute couture designer Georges Chakra, while McConaughey took a style gamble (that most definitely paid off) in a plum suit. Elsewhere, the TCA summer tour thrust beautiful dresses worn by Nicole Kidman and Elisabeth Moss into the spotlight. Moss donned a spearmint green leopard print dress by Aussie duo Camilla and Marc while Kidman looked every inch the Hollywood superstar in an embellished Rochas number. Speaking of Hollywood, up-and-comer Krysten Ritter was arguably the toast of the red carpet this week in a cut-out red dress by London Fashion Week designer Julien Macdonald. The 35-year-old completed her show-stopping ensemble with a lick of red lippy and black heels. But it was Halle Berry’s throwback get-up that gets our vote this week. The 50-year-old, who really doesn’t look a day over 30, paired a camouflage mini skirt with a wrap blouse and an oh-so-90s hair braid at the premiere of her new film ‘Kidnap’. Without further ado, this week’s best dressed celebrities. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for non-stop inspiration delivered fresh to your feed, every day. Kris Jenner may’ve ‘broken the Internet’ this weekend with her age-defying bikini selfie , but she’s not the only celebrity who looks years younger than her age. Halle Berry took to the red carpet at the premiere of her new film ‘Kidnap’ last night looking like a fresh-faced 30something – not a 50-year-old – urging us all to grab for the nearest pot of anti-ageing cream. Clad in a camouflage print mini skirt and an oversized wrap shirt, the actress finished her look with a lick of natural make-up and straightened hair extensions. Of course, this isn’t the first time Halle’s rocked the beauty world on the red carpet. The former Bond girl has worked all kinds of looks at A-list events, including an epic afro at the 2017 Academy Awards and hair piercings at at another ‘Kidnap’ promotional event . Halle’s sartorial prowess is just as well-known. At an event to honour mums in May this year, the actress showed off her toned tum in a semi-sheer gown and a backless, mini Atelier Versace dress was the talk of the 2017 Oscars Vanity Fair party. Cara Delevingne and Rihanna are fighting it out for the title of style queen this week. With both attending the premiere of their new film ‘Valerian’, the two showed diverse styles ranging from futuristic to Disney princess, landing on our best dressed list. Charlize Theron has too impressed this week, taking to the red carpet in nothing but a Dior bra and mini skirt. This week’s misses include some surprising names. Natalie Portman’s red Dior dress was more dowdy than necessary with Sofia Boutella’s Chanel gown making the star look older than her 35 years.
