I almost exclusively use one to cook! Cast iron is tough, durable, and with the proper care, can definitely outlive you (not joking). You may have heard that it’s a great way to sear steaks and other meats, but I’ve rounded up five other recipes to inspire you to your cast iron for so much more! Well, except maybe a giant 12-inch chocolate chip cookie baked in a cast iron pan! The cast iron turns the bottom and edges to a deep golden brown and keeps the center perfectly chewy.
