Workout and wellness leader Melissa Wood-Tepperberg is always sharing her latest healthy concoctions with her social media followers, and we enjoy testing everything from her energizing smoothies to loaded avocado toast in our own kitchens.
The 2023 SI Swimsuit rookie, who was photographed in Dominica for this year’s magazine, recently shared a protein-packed smoothie recipe on her TikTok that we think would make for an incredibly filling breakfast, or even a great pre- or post-workout recovery snack.
Melissa Wood-Tepperberg’s Protein-Packed Smoothie
Ingredients
1 tbsp. cacao
1 c. spinach
1. c pistachio milk (Wood-Tepperberg prefers the Three Trees Organics brand)
1 c. coconut water (she used Harmless Harvest)
1/2 c. strawberries (she puts them in with the stems still on!)
1 banana
Handful of dates
1/2 c. wild blueberries
1 tbsp. peanut butter
1/2 c. filtered water
1 tbsp. Anima Mundi Happiness Powder
Chia seeds
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients above to your blender. Blend and enjoy!
