Selena Gomez just debuted a new bleach blonde layered bob and she's giving us very much Old Hollywood glam.
Posing for the cover of Elle USA's first-ever Latinx issue, Selena swapped her trademark brown waves for a new blonde hairdo paired with a chic red lip and smoky cat eye. Her hair was styled by Orlando Pita for Orlo Play, with makeup by Hung Vanngo at The Wall Group.
Selena was clearly channeling some serious Marilyn Monroe vibes for the pinup-style shoot, and for the cover shot she wore fishnets, a pink tweed Chanel skirt and a printed Chanel top and choker.
In the other pics, Selena wore a studded dress by Louis Vuitton, an argyle cropped sweater by Alessandra Rich and a polkadot, puff-sleeved dress by Prabal Gurung.
Inside the mag, Selena reveals her "favourite place to chill is her glam room." Which makes sense, given how glam she looked on set.
She also opened up about how social media has skewed her self confidence. "I've spent years of my life trying to look like other people. I would see an image, and I would be like, 'My gosh, why don’t I look like that?' None of that was good for me," she said.
Fans and celebrities alike were clearly just as in love with her new look as we were, and took to the comments section of Elle USA's Instagram to praise Selena. "SELEGEND" said one fan, while another commented "MY JAW IS ON THE FLOOR," a third added "So perfect."
Selegend sounds pretty fitting to us.
