Swarovski Celebrates the Year of the Snake With Symbolic Heart-locked Swans, Coiled Serpents and More Lunar New Year Styles
Swarovski has unveiled its latest Lunar New Year collection to celebrate the Year of the Snake, marking the beginning of the brand’s 130th anniversary celebrations, titled “130 Years of Joy.” The collection features a range of symbolic designs that blend tradition with modernity, highlighting Swarovski’s craftsmanship and creativity.
At the heart of the collection is the Swarovski Swan. For this milestone year, the swan is reimagined in a new design that pairs it with its mirror image, their necks intertwined to form a heart. This design is showcased in pieces such as a gold-tone pendant featuring one gold-tone and one rhodium-plated swan, both adorned with shimmering Swarovski Zirconia pavé. Another standout is a chain-link bracelet flowing into Swarovski Crystal Pearls, punctuated by swans embellished with contrasting black and white Swarovski Zirconia stones.

In tribute to the Year of the Snake, Swarovski introduces a series of jewelry pieces inspired by the snake’s symbolism of renewal, vitality and transformation. The designs capture the snake in motion, with forms that coil and twist. The capsule collection includes gold-tone plated pendants, bracelets and earrings. A notable piece is a gold-tone pendant featuring a coiled snake adorned with Swarovski Zirconia and encircling a single Swarovski Crystal Pearl. Red accents appear throughout the collection, offering a nod to the traditions of Lunar New Year.
Expanding beyond jewelry, the collection also features celebratory additions to Swarovski’s home decor offerings. Highlights include the God of Wealth figurine, crafted with 687 precision-cut facets and accented with gold ingots and coins, and the Lucky Cat figurine, featuring 481 facets and an uplifting red collar. The green Snake figurine, adorned with 398 precision-cut facets, combines traditional motifs with playful design details, including a red metal tongue and symbolic embellishments.
The collection also introduces complementary accessories such as the Matrix Bangle Watch, a rose gold-tone timepiece with vivid red crystal accents, and the Crystalline Ballpoint Pen, filled with 430 red crystals and finished with a snake charm.
The Lunar New Year theme carries over into the packaging in red and gold accents symbolizing prosperity and joy. Swarovski’s Year of the Snake collection is now available online and in select stores.
